We know we said last week that it couldn't get any hotter, but we stand corrected. In fact, we're pretty sure Mother Nature heard us say it and said, "Challenge accepted". We're now at the point where we're taking two showers a day because every time we go outside, we start sweating. Last night, we opened and stood in front of the open refrigerator for about five minutes just to pretend we felt as cool as our leftovers. We'll worry about the energy bill later.

Just like our cats, we would happily jump in the fridge at a meowment's notice if we would fit. And since we're not one of those "ice bath" people (you know who you are), we'll have to settle for popsicles, ice water, and frozen feline funnies to beat the heat.
